Fire evacuation procedure

It is important for the safety of all students, staff and visitors of Lethbridge College to be familiar with our fire evacuation procedure in the event of a fire.

Lethbridge College uses both single and two stage fire alarms. For those having classes or meetings throughout the college, please note the difference between the two stages of alarms as well as the locations where they are practised.

Laplante family builds legacy for civil engineering technology students

As chair and instructor with Lethbridge College’s Civil Engineering Technology program, Al Laplante helped build the careers and futures of hundreds of students. Now, thanks to the generosity of “Big Al” and his family, future generations of students will receive support to help them succeed through the Al Laplante Scholarship for Civil Engineering Technology.

Student designs underrepresented comic characters for practicum requirement

Second-year Multimedia Production (MMP) student Hayden Mountain Horse is using her incredible artistic skills to bring conceptual characters to life - a practicum assignment she calls “a perfect fit.” Mountain Horse has been working with Bej’a Christmas, founder and CEO of Anemoia Studios - a production house and talent agency based in Oakland, Calif. Its focus is to promote people of colour and other marginalized communities in the entertainment industry.
