2011-12 has been a year of progress towards achieving the goals outlined in the college’s Comprehensive Institutional Plan - Excellence and Innovation 2011-14. The college has been focused on providing exceptional learning experiences to its students, connecting with industry and community for innovation and enhanced productivity, and fostering the empowering environment that is foundational to all we do.
Administrators reasonably ask for notification of absence to help them provide good service to students and to protect the overall health and wellbeing of individuals and the organization. The wide variety of work environments from which teaching faculty can do their work means that faculty employees need to communicate consistently with supervisors and administrative staff about their location and availability.
The 2019-22 Lethbridge College Comprehensive Institutional Plan is strongly rooted in the idea of growing our way to sustainability. Our connection to the land, agriculture and the natural environment has provided inspiration for the way we do business and how we approach student success. Growth is a natural part of life, and this concept has become the backbone of our strategy moving forward.
