Welcome from the Dean
Making Their Case
Lethbridge College students did extremely well in the fall 2019 Cor Van Raay Case Competition. The first- and second-place teams this year were joint college (mix of business and agriculture students) and University of Lethbridge teams. In addition, four students on the other teams (three from the University of Lethbridge and one from the University of Saskatchewan) were former Lethbridge College business students. Way to represent, students and grads!
The Journey Continues
John Manyok and Sam Mathon were among the Lost Boys of the Sudan who, after arriving in Canada, came to Lethbridge College to study in the ESL, Upgrading and General Studies programs. After earning their diplomas in 2016, they went on to study Social Work at the University of Calgary and received their Bachelor of Social Work degrees in 2019. Congratulations, Sam and John!
Best of the Best
Simon Schaerz, an Exercise Science faculty member and coach to the Lethbridge College Kodiaks men’s and women’s cross country teams, was named ACAC coach of the year in 2019. In addition, two members of the conference and national championship team were CAAS students. Excellent work, Simon and our student-athletes!

English Language Centre
The English Language Centre’s Pathway to English and Academic Culture (PEAC) allows you to learn English in a Languages Canada-approved program and meet most Lethbridge College post-secondary program language requirements. Admission to PEAC may also qualify you to gain a conditional offer of acceptance to a post-secondary program. Learn English and be ready with PEAC!
Programming is provided at Lethbridge Correctional Center to incarcerated individuals in three educational streams – Academic Studies, Personal Development and Job Employment Training. Each stream focuses on a different aspect of inmate education, with a universal goal of providing high quality courses that develop skills to transition successfully back into society.
