Who is eligible?
- Permanent residents of Canada
- Government assisted refugees
- Ukrainian temporary residents and their dependents
- 16 years of age or older
Class time hours and delivery methods:
- Daytime classes
Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:50 p.m. - Evening classes
Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 – 9:20 p.m.
Thursdays from 6:00 – 8:50 p.m.
How to Register
Have you studied in LINC program within the last 2 years?
If Yes: Contact us to begin the registration process.
If No: We will refer you to the assessment centre. If your levels fall in our range, we will start the registration process.
Our language program
Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) at Lethbridge College provides a full- or part-time English as a Second Language program with skill area classes at different CLB levels. We also offer:

No, you are required to study all classes.
Yes, if you are still a permanent resident in Canada, you can study as a LINC student.
Transportation is at your own expense. A parking permit is required to park on campus (Daytime students only). You may bring school sup- plies (notebooks, markers, etc.) if needed.
Yes, we have continuous intake.
No, you need to choose one program.
LINC is made possible, free of charge, through funding provided by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
