In Lethbridge College’s Commercial Greenhouse Technician Certificate, your classroom is wherever works for you but you’ll supplement your online learning with work integrated learning at a greenhouse where you’ll put theory to practice. You’ll receive training in the basics of greenhouse design and management including plant physiology and then reinforce that training under supervision in a commercial setting. One of the primary objectives is to learn troubleshooting skills, such as pest identification and nutrient management, to help maximize production.
