In this time of social distancing and staying home, Lethbridge College’s Merging Realities conference is focused on bringing people together – virtually. The third annual Merging Realities conference takes place on Wednesday, March 25, in a completely virtual setting.

Kodiaks prowl for futsal medals

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks have medals on the mind as the 2020 ACAC Futsal Championships begin on Friday in Lloydminster. The women’s team is among the gold medal favourites at the championship tournament, while the men’s team comes into action as the reigning ACAC soccer champions.

Kodiaks chase first national men’s volleyball championship

 Lethbridge College’s men’s volleyball team is trying to do something the program has never done before – win a national championship. The Kodiaks are at the CCAA championships hosted by St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, from Thursday to Saturday.

Kodiaks dominate ACAC basketball awards

Two great basketball seasons were recognized in a big way on Wednesday evening, as Lethbridge College’s basketball teams combined to earn eight ACAC season-ending awards. Highlighting the list is men’s basketball ACAC player of the year Brock Dewsbery.

Four Lethbridge College alumni who have gone on to become leaders in their careers and communities have been recognized as this year’s Honouring Excellence award winners. Honouring Excellence awards are given each year to notable graduates whose perseverance, determination and grit set them apart.

Southwest Alberta Regional Skills Study launched

To help support the local economy, a group of seven partners have come together in a collaborative partnership to explore the skills needs of employers in southwestern Alberta. The Southwest Alberta Regional Skills Study will collect feedback from employers and job seekers across the region.
