Three new members appointed to Lethbridge College Board of Governors

The Government of Alberta has appointed three new members to Lethbridge College’s Board of Governors. Marni Hope (Miisomii’kitsikaakii/Long Time Offering) is beginning her three-year term as a non-academic representative while student members, Niculina (Nicky) Jensen and Stefan Joseph, will serve on the board for the 2023-24 academic year.

Lethbridge College researchers have formed one of just 15 innovation teams selected from across Canada to explore and develop new tools and technologies that will enable sustainable, year-round berry farming. The Homegrown Innovation Challenge delivers funding to participating teams to pursue innovative ideas that will support Canada’s berry industry.

Lethbridge College implements Restrictions Exemption Program

Effective Monday, Sept. 20, Lethbridge College is implementing the Government of Alberta’s Restrictions Exemption Program. This means anyone accessing the Lethbridge College campus will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR or rapid test taken within 72 hours of accessing the campus.
