Honorees this year include Distinguished Alumni Heidi Gravelle (Bachelor of Applied Arts – Correctional Studies 2005); Career Virtuoso Leta Pezderic (Fish and Wildlife Technology 2003, Renewable Resource Management 2002); Community Leader JP Gentile (Recreation Management 1996) and Rising Star Bryan Pachal (Massage Therapy 2018).

Lethbridge College to host wind turbine open house March 7
Lethbridge College’s state-of-the-art Wind Turbine Technician lab will be free to explore March 7 as part of the Wind Turbine Networking and Discovery event. While the first half of the day will be geared toward industry, the second half will include a career fair and open house from 4 to 7 p.m. in TT1951, in the Trades, Technologies and Innovation Facility.
Lethbridge College Plumbing apprentice wins national competition
Second-year Lethbridge College Plumbing apprentice Joshua Mandin needed a little convincing from his uncle, a Carpentry instructor, to try competing for the first time in the Skills Canada Alberta competition in Edmonton in May. “My uncle said it was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss and an experience I’d carry all my life,” Mandin says. So, he signed up – and ended up winning gold medals at both the provincial and national competitions.

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks are joining programs from across the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) to Make Some Noise for Mental Health this week. The campaign is designed to encourage empathy, understanding and open-mindedness while promoting resources and support available on campus for those who need it.
Lethbridge College recognized for financial responsibility
For the ninth year in a row, Lethbridge College has received top marks from Alberta’s Auditor General for its financial reporting. The college received all green lights – the top designation possible – in the 2021 Auditor General’s annual Report on Post-secondary Institutions released earlier this year.
