Visitors to Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden are now able to experience yet another memorable sensation. The garden’s new Nikka Yuko Kamakura (Igloo) domed experience uses 360-degree video to immerse visitors in stunning visual displays of traditional Japanese and Canadian culture and environments.

Lethbridge College celebrates newest graduates of Police Cadet program
It was a full crowd in the Lethbridge College library Friday as seven new graduates of the college’s Police Cadet program received their academic certificates and badges. The graduating class completed 22 weeks of training in the award-winning program, developed in partnership with southern Alberta police agencies.

The team behind Lethbridge College’s real-life health care training environment known as SPHERE has earned provincial recognition. The SPHERE team won the Alberta Colleges and Institutes Faculties Association award for Innovation in Teaching.
Lethbridge College Research Farm ready for Farm Field Day
Members of the agricultural community have the opportunity to tour the Lethbridge College Research Farm during the second annual Farm Field Day on the morning of Tuesday, July 11. Lethbridge College, potato growers partner on irrigation study
A new study will dig deep into the soil to determine how watering and irrigation methods affect southern Alberta’s potato crops. The four-year research project is a partnership between Lethbridge College’s Centre for Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the Potato Growers of Alberta. It is made possible through a grant from the Canadian Agricultural Partnership.
Justice Studies instructor and students head to Croatia for post-graduate course
A Lethbridge College instructor has been invited to be part of the faculty for one of the world’s leading post-graduate criminal justice courses. Aaron Eyjolfson, an instructor in the School of Justice Studies, will present at the 34th annual Postgraduate Course of Victimology, Victim Assistance and Criminal Justice in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
