Family fun, food trucks, fantastic music and more are just four days away as Lethbridge College gears up to host Coulee Fest on Saturday. Supported by title sponsor, 1st Choice Savings, this free annual event is the ultimate celebration of community spirit and all are invited!
Family favourites, including a petting zoo, carriage rides, crafts and more, will be part of the fun starting at 1 p.m. Attendees can also look forward to:
- A culinary adventure in the Perlich Bros Food Truck Zone
- The ultimate shopping destination with Prairie Made Market vendors
- The Canadian Tire Kids Zone
- Blowers and Grafton Kodiaks Zone
- KB Show and Shine
- Live entertainment at the Visit Lethbridge stage featuring a handful of local performers, including this year’s headliner Brayden King
- A place to soak up all the festival vibes with the Hudsons Beer Gardens
New this year are Western Canadian Welding Products student hours – from 5 to 7 p.m. – when the family activities wind down and the on-stage entertainment ramps up. Post-secondary students also have the chance to win prizes, valued at over $500, by entering a student-only draw at the Western Canadian Welding booth. Those entering must show proof of student status and be in attendance at 7 p.m. when names are drawn to claim the prize.
Public draw boxes for additional prizes will be located at the TD Insurance, Visit Lethbridge and 1st Choice Savings booths.
“From its beginnings as a 60th anniversary celebration, Coulee Fest has always been a special day at Lethbridge College,” says Stephanie Savage, manager, Alumni and Engagement. “Over the years, it’s grown to become a much-loved community event that all ages can enjoy, and we can't wait to share in the excitement and make memories with everyone who joins us. It’s sure to be an unforgettable day!”
Coulee Fest runs from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday on the college’s east lawn.
