Students in Lethbridge College’s automotive programs have received a boost from Ford of Canada and Dunlop Ford. The college received two new Ford vehicles, which will provide students with the opportunity to get hands-on training with some of the latest technology available in vehicles.

Colleges and Institutes Canada named Lethbridge College the recipient of two national awards for excellence, recognizing the “extraordinary contributions” of the college’s Centre for Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship team with a gold award and the Criminal Justice student members of the college’s LEO Club Executive Team with a bronze.

Lethbridge College has received national recognition for its promotion of physical and mental health. Excellence Canada and Canada Life named the college one of the 2019 Canada’s Healthy Workplace Month Great Employers.  

Farming Smarter and Lethbridge College have long worked collaboratively on a wide variety of projects. Now, they have formalized and expanded their partnership as they signed a 15-year “memorandum of understanding”. The agreement allows the college and Farming Smarter to lead and transform agriculture research in southern Alberta.

Two of Alberta’s premier agriculture applied research institutions are coming together to ensure the province’s agriculture industry has access to world-class researchers, resources and data. Lethbridge College and Olds College have signed a “memorandum of understanding” (MOU) focused on applied agriculture research.
