For the second year in a row, Lethbridge College’s magazine has been named the best community college magazine in North America. And for the first time it has been awarded a Grand Gold – one of the highest honours bestowed by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. The award is just one of several ways members of Lethbridge College’s Communications, Marketing and Alumni Engagement teams have been recognized in a variety of different ways in their industries in recent months.

Promoting a campus culture that is inclusive to all, Lethbridge College has once again raised the Pride flag on its campus. The rainbow flag is flying outside of the main entrance to the college, in conjunction with Lethbridge-wide Pride activities that are taking place throughout June. This is the fourth year that the college has flown the Pride flag in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

Lethbridge College will offer a free 90-minute workshop to guide prospective students through applying for a student loan from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 19. This session is for students who have been accepted to a college program this fall, are considering applying or who have had student loans before but still have questions.

Here is a look at events happening on the Lethbridge College campus from May 6 to 12, 2019.

Lethbridge College is offering a unique college experience – called Experiential Learning Week – to high school students from across southern Alberta. Approximately 150 students will have the opportunity to engage in an authentic and eye-opening college experience in an academic area that aligns with their interests.

Lethbridge College celebrates the end of another successful academic year at its Convocation ceremony on Friday. The 62^nd Convocation ceremony begins at 1 p.m. at the Enmax Centre.
