Leeroy Stagger CF Branded.jpg Coulee Fest is one month away! Lethbridge College’s third annual community festival will take place on Saturday, Sept. 14, and will be headlined by a performance from internationally-renowned singer-songwriter Leeroy Stagger. Stagger will cap off a day of free live music, family fun areas, food trucks, beer gardens, interactive program showcase areas and more.

Stagger, who was raised in B.C. and now lives in Lethbridge, will perform just one day after releasing his newest album, Strange Path. Over a 17-year career, Stagger has released 13 studio albums and had his music featured on TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy and Sons of Anarchy. He was named Solo Artist of the Year at the 2017 Canadian Folk Music Awards and won the PEAK Performance Project contest in 2015.

“Coulee Fest has become a signature event on our campus over the past two years, and adding Leeroy Stagger just brings it to an even higher level,” says Sydney Wakaruk, Development Officer and Coulee Fest organizer. “His music will provide the perfect soundtrack to Coulee Fest and we invite the entire community to come out and celebrate with us.”

Stagger will hit the Brighter Together Stage at Coulee Fest for a free show at 6 p.m. Coulee Fest runs from 1 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 14, with activities open to all ages.
