Lethbridge College launches Bachelor of Criminal Justice program

Lethbridge College’s new Bachelor of Criminal Justice program will welcome its first students in September, marking the latest evolution in more than five decades of education in policing- and justice-related fields. This is the third bachelor degree program available at Lethbridge College, joining Ecosystem Management and Agriculture Science degrees.

Lethbridge College Justice Studies instructors, students attend victimology course in Croatia

Lethbridge College was well-represented at the world’s leading post-graduate criminal justice course this spring in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Two instructors, Aaron Eyjolfson and Seth Adema, accompanied six third-year Bachelor of Justice Studies students as they took part in the 37th annual International Post-Graduate Course on Victimology, Victim Assistance and Criminal Justice May 15 to 27. The course brought together approximately 80 international students and 50 internationally renowned experts from the field.

Lethbridge College ready to host national bioengineering conference

Researchers at Lethbridge College are excited to welcome close to 200 people from the agriculture, food and bioengineering industries to campus next week for the national conference and Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Society for Bioengineering/La Société Canadienne de Génie Agroalimentaire et de Bioingénierie (CSBE/SCGAB).

Lethbridge College Research Farm ready for Farm Field Day

Members of the agricultural community have the opportunity to tour the Lethbridge College Research Farm during the second annual Farm Field Day on the morning of Tuesday, July 11. Attendees can tour the farm, meet with researchers and learn more about how the college’s Centre for Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CARIE) is meeting industry needs.
