We offer two secure, easy-to-use wireless networks to support your connectivity needs:

  • eduroam: This wireless network consolidated both of our previous network options, Staff@LC & Students@LC into one.
    • Eduroam is a free, seamless, and secure wireless network developed for the international education and research communities.
    • Upon authenticating, this network allows students, researchers and employees from participating post-secondary institutions to obtain internet access across their home campuses and when traveling to participating locations.
    • Best of all, once you set it up on your device(s), you can connect whenever you’re in range of an Eduroam hotspot in the future.
  • Guest@LC: This 5Mbps network is for guests, presenters, and the public to utilize for basic internet access.

Configuring your device

When using your device for the first time at the college, there are two ways to connect to eduroam depending on how you plan to use it.

  • If you just plan on connecting from the Lethbridge College campus you can simply click on “eduroam” from your available wireless networks and enter your email address and password as the username and password.
  • If you would like to be able to use eduroam from other campuses, you will need to install the eduroam app.
    • This is the recommended method for full functionality.

Find a participating location by clicking here.

Android, iPhone, Windows, and Mac OS users can download the required “GetEduroam” app from their respective app stores, or by clicking here.

  • Once you have the app installed, select “Lethbridge College” from the list and enter your email and password. Your device will now auto-connect to Eduroam whenever possible.
