A flexible learning environment that supports students, faculty, employees and the community is at the core of a new home for Lethbridge College’s Centre for Teaching, Learning and Innovation. A renovation of the Buchanan Library space has brought nine departments together under one roof in a collaborative environment that meets the changing educational needs of students.

Lethbridge College has received national recognition for its promotion of physical and mental health. Excellence Canada and Canada Life named the college one of the 2019 Canada’s Healthy Workplace Month Great Employers.  

Jason Cotton, a third-year Ecosystem Management student at Lethbridge College, got to put the lessons he learned in the classroom into action last summer. Cotton, who completed the first two years of his program and earned a Renewable Resource Management diploma in 2019, joined a team from the Centre for Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CARIE) taking part in a four-year research project study of Alberta potato crops.

A research project at Lethbridge College has compiled all of the Kodiaks championship history in one place for the first time, and it shows the Kodiaks are even more successful than initially known.

In 2020, you can get a clear vision of how global trends will affect your cattle operation at Lethbridge College’s Tiffin Conference. The 21^st edition of the annual conference, which focuses on opportunities and challenges in the red meat industry, will take place on Jan. 16.

The ACAC soccer championships are coming to Lethbridge College in 2020. The Kodiaks were named as the host for both the women’s and men’s tournaments during the ACAC annual meeting.
