For the first time in 13 years, the Kodiaks men’s and women’s volleyball teams have qualified for the ACAC championship in the same season. The Kodiaks men’s team will play in the ACAC championship tournament in Medicine Hat, while the women’s event is in Camrose, hosted by Augustana.

Showing its commitment to the Lethbridge community as a whole, Cora Breakfast and Lunch has been named the title sponsor of the 2018 ACAC Men’s Basketball Championships. The tournament, featuring the top eight men’s teams from the ACAC, will run from March 1 to 3 in Lethbridge College’s Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

This past week, Kodiaks student-athletes and coaches visited Streets Alive Mission to help sort donated items as part of this year’s Kodiaks Warm Paws campaign.

Saving her best effort for the last race of the season, Lethbridge College Kodiaks rookie sensation Sophia Nowicki (first year, General Studies) earned a CCAA cross country bronze medal on Saturday.

As part of its 60th anniversary celebrations, Lethbridge College is celebrating its decorated athletic history with the creation of the Kodiaks Hall of Fame. The inaugural class of 12 inductees will be recognized during ceremonies at the Kodiaks basketball and volleyball games this weekend.

The defending CCAA national champion Lethbridge College Kodiaks women’s basketball team begins defense of its title this week as a new ACAC season tips off. Meanwhile, the Kodiaks men’s team has its own championship aspirations as the club will host the Cora Breakfast and Lunch ACAC Men’s Basketball Championships from March 1-3 in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

Perennial medal threats in the ACAC, the Lethbridge College Kodiaks cross country teams begin a new season this weekend. The clubs are heading for Calgary for a meet co-hosted by SAIT and St. Mary’s University.

A new era of Lethbridge College Kodiaks soccer kicks off this weekend with an important two-game set on the Kodiaks’ home field.

Sean Carey will make his debut as head coach of both the men’s and women’s teams after taking over the programs from long-time coach Mike Racz earlier this year. Carey previously coached the women’s program from 2009 to 2011, while this is his first time taking the reins for the men’s team.
