New, returning and potential Lethbridge College students can get a jump start on the new academic year, as a number of college services will be open over part of the Labour Day long weekend.

From noon to 4 p.m. this Sunday and Monday, those visiting campus can access the following services:

  • Academic Advising
  • Registration
  • Admissions (note the application deadline for the fall 2017 term is Sept. 5)
  • Student Awards and Financial Aid
  • Financial Services
  • Buchanan Library
  • Bookstore
  • Residence
  • Recreation Services (open until 5 p.m.)
  • Health and Shepell Counselling Services
  • Learning Café and Accessibility Services
  • Lethbridge College Students’ Association

During this time, new students can also register or check-in for Tuesday’s New Student Orientation or learn about volunteer opportunities with Student Recruitment.

Campus tours will take place hourly on both days, with the first tour at noon and the final tour leaving at 3 p.m., all from Centre Core.

The on-campus Tim Hortons, located in Centre Core, will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.
