Both Kodiaks volleyball teams return to ACAC championships this weekend
For the first time in 13 years, the Kodiaks men’s and women’s volleyball teams have qualified for the ACAC championship in the same season. The Kodiaks men’s team will play in the ACAC championship tournament in Medicine Hat, while the women’s event is in Camrose, hosted by Augustana.
Cora Breakfast and Lunch to title sponsor 2018 ACAC Men’s Basketball Championships
Showing its commitment to the Lethbridge community as a whole, Cora Breakfast and Lunch has been named the title sponsor of the 2018 ACAC Men’s Basketball Championships. The tournament, featuring the top eight men’s teams from the ACAC, will run from March 1 to 3 in Lethbridge College’s Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

The defending CCAA national champion Lethbridge College Kodiaks women’s basketball team begins defense of its title this week as a new ACAC season tips off. Meanwhile, the Kodiaks men’s team has its own championship aspirations as the club will host the Cora Breakfast and Lunch ACAC Men’s Basketball Championships from March 1-3 in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

Sean Carey will make his debut as head coach of both the men’s and women’s teams after taking over the programs from long-time coach Mike Racz earlier this year. Carey previously coached the women’s program from 2009 to 2011, while this is his first time taking the reins for the men’s team.
