In 2018, both the women’s and men’s teams played in ACAC medal games in the same season for the first time in program history, with the women’s squad earning a bronze medal. Both teams return the core of those squads and are supplemented by impressive recruiting classes that have the coaching staff optimistic that this could be the year of the Kodiaks.
Long-time assistant promoted to Kodiaks soccer co-coach
A long-time assistant coach and Kodiaks alumnus will take on elevated responsibilities with Lethbridge College’s soccer and futsal teams. Mark Pries will join Sean Carey as co-head coaches of both the men’s and women’s Kodiaks teams for the 2019-20 seasons.

Six Kodiaks named CCAA Academic All-Canadians

Kodiaks to host 2019-20 ACAC men’s volleyball championships
The Lethbridge College Kodiaks will host a conference volleyball championship for the first time in program history. The 2019-20 ACAC Men’s Volleyball Championship was awarded to Lethbridge College at the ACAC’s spring meeting in Edmonton on Wednesday.
Kodiaks’ Hockridge earns CCAA Hall of Fame induction
One of the most dominant athletes to ever don Lethbridge College Kodiaks colours has earned her way to the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Hall of Fame. Laurie Hockridge, a women’s basketball star from 1987 to 1990, will be inducted in the athlete category at a ceremony on June 11 in Calgary.
Nowicki, Clemons named top student-athletes at 2019 KODIs
Two Kodiaks who have etched their names in ACAC history have earned top student-athlete honours for the Lethbridge College Kodiaks. Cross country national champion Sophia Nowicki earned the award on the women’s side, while ACAC men’s basketball record holder Michael Clemons was the men’s recipient at the 2019 KODIs on Thursday evening.
