Nominations are now open for Lethbridge College’s 2023 Honouring Excellence Awards. Each year, the college celebrates the success of its outstanding alumni community by presenting four inspiring members with Honouring Excellence Awards. These awards recognize college graduates who have experienced early success, risen to the top of their careers and made significant contributions to their industries and their communities.

Lethbridge College is announcing two new directors in its Centre for Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CARIE) and its Facilities Management departments.

Lethbridge College’s Agricultural Enterprise Management (AEM) program kicks off this September, and those students enrolled in full-time AEM studies in its first year will receive a one-time $1,000 tuition credit.

 

A Lethbridge College student will get the opportunity to learn in two of Canada’s largest media markets thanks to a one-of-a-kind internship opportunity. Skylar Peters, a second-year Digital Communications and Media student, is the recipient of this year’s Troy Reeb Internship.

Second-year Digital Communications and Media (DCM) student Chase Chambers will be learning from some of the best in the business thanks to a story proposal he submitted in competition for this year’s Troy Reeb Internship offered by Lethbridge College.

Annette Kampert, a Business Administration – Accounting student and active volunteer on campus and in the community, has been named valedictorian for Lethbridge College’s Spring 2024 Convocation. She will lead the procession of graduates and speak at both ceremonies planned for May 24 in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

COVID may have changed the college experience the past two years, but it seems to have inspired students’ appreciation of their teachers at Lethbridge College. The Lethbridge College Faculty Association (LCFA)/Lethbridge College Students’ Association (LCSA) Teaching Excellence Awards resumed after a two-year break, and 170 students stepped up to nominate 83 faculty members.
