RE/MAX Real Estate – Lethbridge has been named the title sponsor for the 2017 ACAC women’s basketball championships.

“To have a hometown business like RE/MAX come on board as the championships title sponsor makes the event even more special,” says Todd Caughlin, manager of Kodiaks Athletics. “Lethbridge College is a fixture in the community and the support of RE/MAX will help us add to that legacy by helping us host a prestigious championship tournament. We are proud to work together with Re/Max to put on a tournament that Lethbridge and area will be talking about for a long time.”

The 2017 RE/MAX ACAC Women’s Basketball Championship will run from March 1 to 4 in Lethbridge College’s Val Matteotti Gymnasium. RE/MAX Real Estate – Lethbridge is a locally owned and operated agency that is excited to support this local event.

“RE/MAX Real Estate – Lethbridge is both honoured and proud to be the title sponsor for such a great event,” says Dallas Harty, owner of RE/MAX Real Estate – Lethbridge. “We will be there to help financially and also by having all of our agents participate by lending a hand wherever it is needed at the event.  Our family and all of our agents are deep rooted in the communities we serve and are excited to help support this event."

The eight-team 2017 RE/MAX ACAC Women’s Basketball Championship will feature eight teams playing 11 games over three days. The host Lethbridge College Kodiaks are expected to be one of the favourites, as they are currently 3-0 in conference play and ranked fourth in Canada.

The 2017 RE/MAX ACAC Women’s Basketball Championship is part of “championship weekend” at Lethbridge College, as the Kodiaks will also be simultaneously hosting the 2017 ACAC Indoor Track Championships at the University of Lethbridge’s First Choice Savings Centre.

More information on either tournament can be found on the Kodiaks or ACAC websites.
