Ecosystem Management student earns national scholarship
A Lethbridge College student has been awarded a prestigious scholarship by Canada’s Parliamentary Outdoor Caucus. Monica Bartha, who is completing the Ecosystem Management – Bachelor of Applied Science degree program with a specialization in Fish and Wildlife Management, was one of just 10 students from across Canada selected for the honour.
Students fly their creative flag with design competition
A unique collaboration between the City of Lethbridge and Lethbridge College has produced an opportunity for a group of Engineering Design and Drafting Technology students. Students were invited to submit designs for revamped City Hall flag poles, to be considered as part of the final selection process.

Student-designed home wins regional BILD award
A home designed by two Lethbridge College students has earned a major industry award. The Daphne, designed by Interior Design Technology students Jessica Banman and Teunieke Anker and built by Ashcroft Master Builder, was named top single family home in its price range at the BILD - Lethbridge Region awards.
Jason Cotton puts theory into practice as a research assistant in the Mueller Irrigation program
Jason Cotton, a third-year Ecosystem Management student at Lethbridge College, got to put the lessons he learned in the classroom into action last summer. Cotton, who completed the first two years of his program and earned a Renewable Resource Management diploma in 2019, joined a team from the Centre for Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CARIE) taking part in a four-year research project study of Alberta potato crops.
Student-designed home wins provincial award
A student-designed home has won a provincial award. The Emberly, designed by Lethbridge College Interior Design Technology student Lina Wiebe for Ashcroft Master Builder, earned an Alberta BILD award for top single-family home under $300,000.
