When and where do I bring my camper on the first day of camp?

Registration starts at 8:45 a.m. at Lethbridge College in The Cave (CE1300) on the first day of camp. Campers and parents will give all completed forms to the camp administrators, sign in and have a chance to meet other campers!

What forms do I need to fill out and bring on the first day?

Please bring the Camper Information and Consent Form and Culinary Consent Form (only if in a Culinary Camp). These forms will be sent to you by a camp administrator prior to the camp start date.

What is the earliest/latest time I can drop off/pick up my camper?

Campers are to be dropped off and picked up in The Cave (CE1300) each day and will be supervised by one of our camp administrators during these times. This room is located near the College Centre. Campers may be dropped off as early as a half-hour before camp and be picked up no later than a half-hour after camp. Outside of these times, Lethbridge College is not responsible for campers.

Is there a sign in/out policy?

All campers must be signed in and out of Lethbridge College Summer Camps by the designated person(s) indicated on the Camper Information and Consent Form. Parents may allow their child to sign themselves in and out. Such permission must be indicated on the Camper Information and Consent Form. For campers that are not indicated as self-sign out, parents and authorized individuals will be asked to present photo ID when picking up their child.

Do I need to pack a lunch for my camper?

Yes. Campers should either bring a healthy bagged lunch or money to buy lunch in the Lethbridge College Cafeteria. Trips to buy lunch in the cafeteria will be supervised by one of our camp administrators. Lunch is supplied in all Culinary Camps.

My camper has a peanut allergy. Are the camps nut free?

Lethbridge College Summer Camps encourages all campers to refrain from bringing nut products to camp. However, Lethbridge College is an open campus and therefore we cannot guarantee that there will be no exposure to nut products while at camp.

What items should my camper bring?

Please ensure your camper brings the following items to camp each day:

  • water bottle
  • bagged lunch OR lunch money (lunch in Culinary Camps is supplied)
  • appropriate clothing based on the camp
  • any self-administered medication (Ventolin inhaler, Epipen etc.)

Please ensure all valuables are left at home. Lethbridge College Summer Camps is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of personal items brought to camp.

Where can I park?

Parking regulations on campus are in effect all summer. Hourly/daily paid parking is available in the Front Bus Loop and Lot O located adjacent to the Physical Education Building at a cost of $2 for 4 hours or $4 for all day.
