Criminology

CJP-2278  Criminology  (3 Credits)  An introduction to the major theoretical concepts, both historical and modern, which provide explanations of crime, criminals, and criminality. The relationships with psychology and sociology, and between theory and practice, are included. Measurements of crime, social correlates and scientific foundations for a modern criminal policy are discussed.
