Is this your first time thinking about college? Not sure what to do or where to begin? Get a crash course on college life and will learn how to start the process of becoming a part of the Lethbridge College community!


Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. 

Topic: Centre for Health and Wellness

Everything you need to know about how our transfer system works, our relationship with the University of Lethbridge, and what programs are available to you. Featuring programs from the Centre for Health and Wellness, you’ll learn the difference between our Practical Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing programs as well as how to apply to Lethbridge College or the University of Lethbridge.

Topic: Admissions, Scholarships, and your LCSA

What are some admission requirements? How do you apply for scholarships? Get the answers to these questions and more, as well as hear from a LSCA representative to learn how your student association is there for you!

Connect with an Elder who will speak on the importance of culture and community.  Learn more about our Cultural Support Program from our Indigenous Student Support Coordinator and Grandmothers. This opportunity allows you to benefit from the support, traditional knowledge and guidance of our Elders.

Topic: Indigenous Student Funding

Explore the various funding opportunities available to our Indigenous students and how to access it. Topics will include: Band Sponsorship, Metis funding, student loans, Indigenous scholarships, bursaries, awards and more.

Your passport to becoming an international student! Considering becoming an international student? Lethbridge College is a wonderful place to learn and build your community. Learn what it takes to become a student with us and hear directly from an advisor about things to think about during the process.

Topic: International Advising

As an international student, we know you will have a lot questions. At this session, ask those questions directly to a Lethbridge College international advisor. You will also receive information on residence options and how to make Lethbridge College your home away from home!
