As of Sept. 20, Lethbridge College has implemented a vaccination and testing protocol. Proof of vaccination or negative test results must be documented in LC Alert for all students, employees and visitors on campus. You will need to upload a photo or scan of your vaccination record or negative test result to the LC Alert app or LC Alert web app.

You have two options to provide your vaccination status:

1. Open the LC Alert app

2. Tap on the blue 'COVID-19 Information' banner at the top

3. Tap on 'Vaccine Passport'

Note: If you do not see the 'Vaccine Passport' option, follow the steps at the bottom of this page to update LC Alert.

4. Log in

There are two login options:

If you are a Lethbridge College student or employee:

If you are a campus visitor, contractor or vendor:

  1. Log In with Lethbridge College Credentials (SSO)
  2. Tap 'Continue'
  3. Tap on 'Enter Vaccination Status'
  1. Register as a Guest
  2. Add your email address and create a password

Note: Your password must be at least 8 characters long and contain an uppercase, lowercase, number and special character: * $ - + ? _ & = ! % / .

  1. Tap 'Register'
  2. Tap 'Continue'
  3. Tap on the blue COVID-19 banner
  4. Tap on 'Vaccine Passport'
  5. If you are logged into the app correctly, you will see the option to Enter Vaccination Status

5. There are three options to Enter your Vaccination Status:

If you are fully vaccinated: Begin Application (green button)

Confirm you have been vaccinated by uploading your vaccination records. This includes those who have received both doses of any two-dose Health Canada approved vaccine (Pfizer/Moderna/AstraZeneca – including mix and match doses) or a single dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. 

  • Confirm your details
  • Enter your phone number
  • Under 'Affiliation', select whether you are a student or an employee.

Note: you will not see an affiliation option if you are logged into LC Alert as a guest

  • Provide the details for your first and second dose
  • Tap the camera icon to upload photo proof of your vaccinations

Note: You will need to upload proof of vaccination for each dose. If you have the Alberta Vaccine Card or other documentation that has both dose information on it, you will upload the same image twice. Ensure your documentation includes your name.

If you are partially vaccinated: Begin Application (yellow button)

Confirm you are partially vaccinated by uploading your first vaccination record. This only applies to those who have only received a single dose of any two-dose Health Canada approved vaccine (Pfizer/Moderna/AstraZeneca). Note this option will expire by Oct. 31, 2021.

  • Confirm your details
  • Enter your phone number
  • Under 'Affiliation', select whether you are a student or an employee.

Note: you will not see an affiliation option if you are logged into LC Alert as a guest

  • Provide the details for your first dose
  • Tap the camera icon to upload photo proof of your first dose. Ensure your documentation includes your name.

If you are unvaccinated: Submit a negative test result

Confirm you have tested negative for COVID-19 by submitting a negative PCR or rapid test result.

Note: All applications will expire after 72 hours.

  • Confirm your login details
  • Enter your phone number
  • Under 'Affiliation', select whether you are a student or an employee.

Note: you will not see an affiliation option if you are logged into LC Alert as a guest

  • Enter the required information
  • Tap the camera icon to upload proof of your negative test result. Ensure your documentation includes your name.

To update the LC Alert app:

  1. Click on 'About/Preferences' in the main menu
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap on 'Data Update'
  3. Tap on 'Check for Updates'
  4. Tap to approve updates to the app

LC Alert Web App

1. Open the LC Alert web app.

2. Log In
