Adriana Morrell, PhD

Faculty
Summary
I am very passionate about teaching and research. I was born in Cuba and obtained my BSc and MSc degrees at the University of Havana, where I worked as Plant Physiology instructor in 2006-2009. I came to Canada to complete my PhD research at the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. My doctoral research examined the effects of sequence and frequency of crops in pulse and wheat based rotation systems and their influence on fungal diversity, microbial community structure, and crop performance. I became a full-time instructor in the Agriculture Science program at Lethbridge College in 2015. I am currently teaching Plant Physiology, Soil Fertility, Field Crop Production and Special Crop Production courses.
