Acknowledging and celebrating its location on the traditional land of the Blackfoot people, Lethbridge College is proud to permanently fly the Blackfoot Confederacy flag in front of its campus. The flag was unveiled during a traditional ceremony on Tuesday afternoon.

Kodiaks soccer teams kick off a new era

A new era of Lethbridge College Kodiaks soccer kicks off this weekend with an important two-game set on the Kodiaks’ home field.

Sean Carey will make his debut as head coach of both the men’s and women’s teams after taking over the programs from long-time coach Mike Racz earlier this year. Carey previously coached the women’s program from 2009 to 2011, while this is his first time taking the reins for the men’s team.

His career has taken him from coast-to-coast-to-coast, working across North America in three of the continent’s four major professional sports leagues. And it’s a journey that began at Lethbridge College.

John Vidalin (Communication Arts 1991), Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of the NBA’s Miami Heat, will share his story as this year’s keynote speaker at the college’s New Student Orientation (NSO) on Sept. 5.
