Nowicki leads Kodiaks to ACAC gold
The most decorated program in Lethbridge College athletic history added to its collection on Saturday. The Kodiaks cross country team claimed two gold medals and added a bronze at a very successful 2018 ACAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Lakeland College in Vermilion.
Kodiaks’ Carey earns double coach of the year honours
Lethbridge College Kodiaks soccer head coach Sean Carey has earned a historic honour, being named both women’s and men’s coach of the year in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) south division. Carey is the first coach to ever earn both the men’s and women’s awards in the same season.
Kodiaks cross country eyes podium finishes at ACAC championships

Kodiaks soccer teams hit the pitch for ACAC championships
For just the second time in program history, both Lethbridge College Kodiaks soccer teams have qualified for the playoffs in the same season. The women’s and men’s teams head to SAIT for this weekend’s ACAC championships.
New program, SCoRE, promotes student resilience
The Learning Café is now accepting student registrations for a new five-week program called SCoRE (Student Curriculum on Resilience Education), starting Monday. This program was created by LEAD Pittsburgh (Leading Education and Awareness for Depression) specifically for post-secondary students.

Lethbridge College President receives Blackfoot name
Lethbridge College President and CEO Dr. Paula Burns received a Blackfoot name at a ceremony held in conjunction with the college’s Indigenous Celebration Day Thursday. Burns’ name is Piita’gaaksiimaaki which means Eagle Whistle Woman.
