Calling all Kodiaks! Come home for Alumni Weekend

Once a Kodiak, always a Kodiak. Lethbridge College is calling all of its former student-athletes home as it hosts its inaugural Kodiaks Alumni Weekend on Friday and Saturday at the Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

Kodiaks’ Nowicki wins national cross country championship

Lethbridge College Kodiaks cross country runner Sophia Nowicki capped a perfect season with her first ever national title on Saturday. Nowicki also helped the Kodiaks earn a team silver medal in the women’s competition at the championships hosted by Toronto’s Seneca College.

Open House gives students a head start on pursuing education

Anyone interested in taking the first or next step in pursuit of a post-secondary education is encouraged to attend Lethbridge College’s Fall Open House. The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

Kodiaks go for CCAA gold in Johansson’s send off

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks cross country team has gold medal aspirations as it gets set for the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) national championship this weekend in Toronto. The races, hosted by Seneca College, will officially mark the conclusion of the coaching career of Bertil Johansson, the most decorated cross country coach in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) history.

Lethbridge College has once again been recognized as one of Canada’s top 50 research colleges. The college placed 50th in the 2018 rankings, released on Thursday by Research Infosource. It is the second-straight year – and the fifth time in the last six years – that Lethbridge College has been included in the rankings.
