Lethbridge College ready to host national bioengineering conference

Researchers at Lethbridge College are excited to welcome close to 200 people from the agriculture, food and bioengineering industries to campus next week for the national conference and Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Society for Bioengineering/La Société Canadienne de Génie Agroalimentaire et de Bioingénierie (CSBE/SCGAB).

Lethbridge College Research Farm ready for Farm Field Day

Members of the agricultural community have the opportunity to tour the Lethbridge College Research Farm during the second annual Farm Field Day on the morning of Tuesday, July 11. Attendees can tour the farm, meet with researchers and learn more about how the college’s Centre for Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CARIE) is meeting industry needs.

Police training scenario on campus Wednesday, June 7

Lethbridge College’s Centre for Public Safety and Applied Research is participating in a training scenario involving police cadets on campus between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7 in the 30th Avenue Residence area. There is no danger to the public. Please avoid the area if possible.

Mock police scenario being recorded on campus Tuesday, May 23

A mock hostage scenario is being filmed at Lethbridge College's 30th Avenue Residence on the east side of campus from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 23. You may see police and hear simulated gun rounds and screaming but there is no danger to the community. Please avoid the area during filming.
