Lethbridge College to host wind turbine open house March 7

Lethbridge College’s state-of-the-art Wind Turbine Technician lab will be free to explore March 7 as part of the Wind Turbine Networking and Discovery event. While the first half of the day will be geared toward industry, the second half will include a career fair and open house from 4 to 7 p.m. in TT1951, in the Trades, Technologies and Innovation Facility.

Lethbridge College to host career fair Feb. 8

More than 80 southern Alberta employers will be at Lethbridge College on Thursday for a career fair. Free for Lethbridge College students and alumni, the event will give attendees the opportunity to explore summer job or career options, ask questions of employers and distribute resumes.

Favourite holiday movies are more than fun

Holiday movies become part of family traditions not only because they feature “Christmas goodies” like perfectly wrapped presents, glittering trees, food and family, and well written, quotable lines. The best ones speak to something deeper and give us pause for reflection, says a Lethbridge College instructor, film buff and philosopher.
