Lethbridge College hosts 2023 ACAC Women’s Basketball Championship March 2 to 4
The top women’s basketball teams in the Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference (ACAC) will be shooting for gold this week at Lethbridge College. Presented by Fox Drilling, the 2023 ACAC Women’s Basketball Championship runs March 2 to 4 in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium. The host Kodiaks will compete alongside seven other teams for the chance at an ACAC title and a spot at nationals later in March.

After years of the status quo, the most recent sanding and refinishing project has revealed a bold, new court. At centre, is a black Kodiaks logo emblazoned over powder-blue stain – a prominent colour of the college’s athletics teams.
Tractor pulls Kodiaks men’s volleyball team bus from snowbank
The Kodiaks men’s volleyball team got a first-hand look at small town generosity last month when their bus became stranded in rural Saskatchewan. The team was on its way to Caronport Jan. 20 for a weekend series against Briercrest College. While road conditions were favourable early in the trip, freezing rain was causing serious issues east of Maple Creek.

Kodiaks excel in the classroom, 49 named national scholars
The Lethbridge College Kodiaks excelled not just in competition during the 2019-20 season, but in the classroom as well. A total of 49 Kodiaks student-athletes have earned CCAA National Scholar honours – the most of any ACAC institution, and second most in Canada.
