Prospective students can learn all about the programs, student services and organizations that Lethbridge College offers, during the annual Fall Open House on Thursday.

Taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium, the open house features booths that showcase all of the programs offered by the college and provides opportunities to speak one-on-one with instructors. Visitors can also tour campus, take part in interactive program exhibits and learn about all of the college’s student services – ranging from academics to financial to Indigenous and international services to athletics and more.

“We invite everyone to come to our campus to get a first-hand look at what we are all about,” says Shanda Webber, manager of Recruitment and Indigenous Services. “Whether you know exactly what program you are interested in and want to learn more, or you are maybe looking for inspiration when it comes to choosing your post-secondary path, we are here to help you.”

Lethbridge College offers more than 50 certificate, diploma and degree programs, all designed to meet industry and employment needs. There is always something new to explore, including the recently-approved Agricultural Enterprise Management diploma program, which has been developed to meet the changing business needs of the agriculture industry.

On-the-spot applications will be accepted at the Open House, and everyone who registers in advance online will be entered into a draw to win a $1,500 tuition credit.

“This really is an event for everyone,” says Webber. “Whether you’re still in high school, looking to return to college after taking some time off, or maybe contemplating a career change, this is a fun, easy and interactive way to learn more about the opportunities that Lethbridge College offers.”
