Open House.jpg Whether you’re a high school student just beginning to explore post-secondary options, a graduate ready to launch into a new career or someone interested in taking a few classes to supplement your skills – Lethbridge College’s Winter Open House has something for everyone.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday in the college’s Centre Core. It’s the one-stop location to learn about programs and services offered by the college and to speak directly to faculty and staff from those areas.

“There is no better way to learn about a program, its requirements and job prospects than to talk to those who work directly in that area,” says Shanda Webber, manager of Recruitment and Indigenous Services. “We want to make it as easy as possible for prospective students to learn everything they need to know to make the best choice for their education, and we hope that decision leads them to Lethbridge College.”

In addition to interactive program areas, the Open House also offers campus and residence tours and opportunities to learn about the college’s student services including academic and career guidance, financial aid and student awards, Indigenous services, Kodiaks athletics and much more.

On-the-spot applications will be accepted, and everyone who registers in advance online and checks in at the Open House will be entered into a draw to win a $1,500 tuition credit.

Lethbridge College offers more than 50 certificate, diploma and degree programs, all designed to meet industry and employment needs. There is always something new to explore, including the recently-approved Agricultural Enterprise Management diploma program, which has been developed to meet the changing business needs of the agriculture industry.
