Lethbridge College is saddened by the death of Robert F. (Bob) Babki, former chair of the college’s board of governors.
Mr. Babki, elected to Lethbridge city council in the Oct. 18 civic election, passed away at his home Saturday at 68. He was to have been sworn in with the rest of council, today (Nov. 1).
Mr. Babki served as Lethbridge College’s board chair from August 1972 to February 1977.
