LGBTQ+ awareness series continues
As part of its ongoing efforts to ensure an inclusive environment for all, Lethbridge College has partnered with OUTreach Southern Alberta and ARCHES to present LGBTQ+ awareness sessions. This session, Productive Allyship, dismantles the misconception of allyship as an “identity” by focusing on the power relationships between allies and marginalized individuals. Participants will learn how to begin the process of identifying, evaluating, and exercising their privilege in order to work in solidarity with LGBTQ+ individuals and other marginalized groups. Participants should register in advance. The series resumes in January.
