Have a Conversation with a Cop

Lethbridge College students and employees can have a “Conversation with a Cop” in the Learning Commons. Representatives from a variety of public safety agencies will be available to talk one-on-one or in small groups about whatever you want. There will be individual coffee stations each set up with a table and chairs so you can have your questions answered through personal time with a member from an agency that you have an interest in. Participating agencies include police forces from the region, Canada Border Services Agency, Canadian Armed Forces, Sheriffs and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement. This event is open to all students and college employees and each conversation will be 15 minutes long. Students and staff need to register in advance and can register for more than one time slot.

Taste the results of what Culinary students are learning

The Garden Court restaurant will be offering fine evening dining, featuring gourmet meals prepared by Lethbridge College Culinary Careers students. Public patronage of our unique restaurant is vital to giving our students’ invaluable experiential learning. Patronage is rewarded with exceptional and elegant cuisine. Think about a kale and farro salad with lemon and tahini dressing; pan roasted halibut; and Crème Brûlée. This fine dining is so popular, the restaurant is already booked for one date in April 2020. Follow the Garden Court on Facebook for menu updates and to reserve your table or call 403-320-3230.

Over the course of the year, they’ll serve up 4,500 breakfasts which is a very, very large stack of pancakes. We call it Wellness Wednesday. You can call it Happy Hump Day. It’s a picture that promises some syrupy smiles.
