Alumni

For more than 60 years, Lethbridge College alumni have made their mark around the world. They have carved out careers where they have led in innovation and entrepreneurship, they have used their talents to build better communities and they have brought new and interesting skills and viewpoints to everything they do. Lethbridge College is ready to celebrate its amazing alumni as nominations are now open for its annual Honouring Excellence alumni awards.

Anyone can nominate a deserving alumni member by submitting a nomination package by Feb. 10, 2022 through lethbridgecollege.ca/honouringexcellence.

“Year after year the Alumni Advisory Council comes together to review the submissions for Honouring Excellence and we continue to be impressed with our graduates and what they go on to do in so many different fields,” says Jordan Karst, Alumni Advisory Council chair. “After reading so many incredible submissions over the years, you would think we had seen it all, but every single year, we hear about someone who surprises us! People who have made huge leaps in the medical field or advanced new forms of technology. It fills me with pride to know what graduates of Lethbridge College have accomplished across the world.”

The four awards include:

  • Distinguished Alumni - this prestigious award recognizes college graduates who have separated themselves in their chosen careers, made a significant contribution to their communities, and demonstrated service to the college and its students.
  • Career Virtuoso - presented to alumni who have made significant contributions to their professional fields through their diligence, talent and dedication.
  • Community Leader - presented to alumni who have made contributions to their communities through their work or personal interests.
  • Rising Star - presented to alumni who, within 10 years of graduation from Lethbridge College, have demonstrated many forms of success in their professions.
