Yield signKrista Albers- Business Administration, 2006

Krista completed her Business Administration diploma with a major in marketing and entered the 2+2 program at the University of Lethbridge. She took a semester off to study Spanish in Spain. In 2008, she went on an exchange program to Ecuador to complete her university studies and graduated in 2009 with a bachelor of management, with an international management major and a Spanish minor. In March she enrolled in a European master’s of management program with a focus on international business and started her first semester in Australia. She will finish her master’s in 2011.

Trish (Kadash) Bezborotko- Communication Arts, 1991

Trish spent the first few years after graduation on the air in Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Regina at Z99. After several years on air, she moved into public relations in the non-profit world and later into public affairs with municipal government. In early 2004 she returned to radio as an advertising consultant with Rawlco Radio and its new venture at that time, JACK FM.

Kary (Beacome) Ehnes- Receptionist-Secretarial,1980

Getting her certificate enabled Kary to gain employment in two vital sectors. She spent 10 years as a secretary in the public school system, and now works in the gas-and-oil indsutry as maintenance administration support at Cenovus Energy Inc.in Calgary.

Mark Elliott-Criminal Justice - Policing, 1984

After graduating, Mark worked as a special constable in Fort Macleod. In 1989, he joined the York Regional Police, went to the Ontario Police College and the Ontario Fire College, and is now a detective in the criminal investigation unit.

Graham Fawcett- Computer Information Technology, 2007

Graham is close to completing a bachelor of science at the University of Lethbridge, majoring in computer science. He completed an internship with David Naylor, Canadian coinvestigator for the SPIRE instrument recently launched into space on Herschel. He also completed eight months of internship in  Calgary at Autonomy Systems Ltd.

William (Bill) Gordon- B.Ed. transfer program, 1966

Bill was in the first group of second-year university transfer students at Lethbridge College in the 1965-66 academic year. He went on to the University of Alberta and graduated with a bachelor of education in 1968. He later did graduate work at the U of A in counseling. From 1968 to 1984, he taught for Edmonton Public Schools, then worked as a counselor for Elk Island Public Schools until 2005. Retired since 2006, he continues to work for Elk Island as a part-time counselor in its outreach high schools.

Kenda (Cunningham) Owens - Interior Design, 2001

Kenda is vice-president of public relations for the Interior Designers Association of Saskatchewan. She lives in Moose Jaw and teaches at SIAST in the Architectural Technology program.

Crystal Dawn Reid- Fish & Wildlife Technology 2003

Since graduation, Crystal, a fish and wildlife technologist, has worked with animals in the United States  and Canada, including cougars, wolves, caribou, various fish species and two species of marmots:  Olympic marmots and the endangered Vancouver Island marmots. Since she started working as part of a small team to reintroduce the endangered marmots to Vancouver Island, their numbers have risen from about 30 in 2003 to some 250 today.

Tracy Turk- Communication Arts, 1994

Since graduation, Tracy has lived in Yellowknife. She spent eight years with The Yellowknife newspaper in ad sales and editorial design. She is now married with a son.
