Lethbridge College cannabis decision

Lethbridge College has informed its students and employees of its rules around cannabis use and possession that will take effect on Oct. 17, 2018, when federal legislation allows the legal purchase and use of cannabis.

Enrolment jumps at Lethbridge College

If the Lethbridge College campus feels busier than usual this year, that’s because it is. The college’s student population has surged for the 2018 fall semester with more than 5,100 students enrolled in college programming, a six per cent increase from fall 2017.

Kodiaks cross country ready to Run for the Pumpkin

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks cross country team will get the benefit of a home course this weekend, as the team hosts the Run for the Pumpkin. Running in conjunction with the annual community event, the ACAC Grand Prix marks the first time since 2015 that the Kodiaks will host a conference race.

Most decorated coach in Kodiaks history to hang up the cleats

After more than 30 years at Lethbridge College, the most successful coach in Kodiaks Athletics history will officially retire in November. Bertil Johansson will end a decorated career as cross country and indoor track coach who led teams and athletes to more than 100 conference and national honours.

Lethbridge College opens a dedicated Pride Lounge for LGBTQ+ community and allies

Lethbridge College now has a dedicated space for members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies to meet and socialize. The Pride Lounge was officially opened by members of the college community, the Lethbridge College Students’ Association’s (LCSA) LGBTQ+ club and Alberta’s Minister of Advanced Education Marlin Schmidt, on Monday morning.
