Kodiaks add Spikeball as official sport for 2019-20
The Lethbridge College Kodiaks are planning to transform Spikeball from popular backyard party game to the next prime-time collegiate sport. Kodiaks athletics manager Todd Caughlin has officially unveiled plans to add Spikeball as the seventh Kodiaks sport, set for launch in the 2019-20 season.
Fresh look for Lethbridge’s oldest road race
Lethbridge’s longest on-going road race is getting a makeover for 2019. The 46th annual Kodiaks 10/4 Road Race takes place on Saturday, April 6. This year’s event features a new river bottom course layout that will begin and end at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre.

ACAC Futsal Championships kick off Friday at Lethbridge College
A total of 18 teams and more than 300 athletes will converge on Lethbridge College as the Kodiaks host the 2019 ACAC men’s and women’s futsal championship. The event runs from Friday to Sunday in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium, with both championship tournaments taking place concurrently.
Neilson earns rookie of the year; Five Kodiaks named ACAC all-stars
A sensational season for a hometown product has resulted in a key piece of ACAC hardware. Jocelyn Neilson, an LCI alumna, has been named ACAC women’s basketball south division rookie of the year. Neilson was also one of five Kodiaks basketball players named to ACAC all-star teams.
Kodiaks women’s basketball bounces back into postseason
The Lethbridge College Kodiaks women’s basketball program returns to the ACAC championships this weekend after a one-season playoff absence. The Kodiaks finished the regular season with a 13-8 record, placing third in the ACAC south division. That sets up a quarterfinal matchup with the championship tournament host Keyano Huskies on Thursday evening.
Kodiaks men’s volleyball strikes ACAC silver
The Lethbridge College men’s volleyball team wrapped up the best season in program history with an ACAC silver medal on Saturday. This marks the first time the Kodiaks have ever earned an ACAC medal.
