Kodiaks soccer jerseys donated to school in Ghana

The special efforts of a Lethbridge College Kodiaks soccer alumna mean the Kodiaks logo is now being proudly represented more than 11,000 kilometres away. Jill Brown personally delivered two complete Kodiaks soccer jersey kits to the Prisons Training School in Ghana earlier this year, during a trip to the Ghanaian capital of Accra.

Reigning coach of the year returns to Kodiaks

In a surprise – but pleasant – twist, the Lethbridge College Kodiaks didn’t have to look far to find a coaching staff for its women’s basketball team. Deanna Simpson, the reigning ACAC south division coach of the year, will return to the team for the 2020-21 season with Ken McMurray as co-coach.

Nine Kodiaks earn CCAA Academic All-Canadian honours

Nine Lethbridge College Kodiaks student-athletes have combined academics and athletics at the highest level, earning Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Academic All-Canadian honours. The CCAA considers the Academic All-Canadian award as its most prestigious honour.

Kodiaks’ Caughlin named ACAC Athletic Director of the Year

The ACAC has named Todd Caughlin of the Lethbridge College Kodiaks as the 2019-20 ACAC Athletic Director of the Year. In his sixth season with the Kodiaks program, Caughlin was at the helm as the Kodiaks had one of the most successful seasons in program history.

Kodiaks crown 2020 KODI Award winners

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks celebrated an abbreviated athletics season with the annual KODI Awards on Wednesday evening. The awards capped an incredible season for Kodiaks Athletics that included one national championship, three ACAC championships and more than 60 ACAC and CCAA honours.

Kodiaks prowl for futsal medals

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks have medals on the mind as the 2020 ACAC Futsal Championships begin on Friday in Lloydminster. The women’s team is among the gold medal favourites at the championship tournament, while the men’s team comes into action as the reigning ACAC soccer champions.

Kodiaks chase first national men’s volleyball championship

 Lethbridge College’s men’s volleyball team is trying to do something the program has never done before – win a national championship. The Kodiaks are at the CCAA championships hosted by St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, from Thursday to Saturday.

Kodiaks dominate ACAC basketball awards

Two great basketball seasons were recognized in a big way on Wednesday evening, as Lethbridge College’s basketball teams combined to earn eight ACAC season-ending awards. Highlighting the list is men’s basketball ACAC player of the year Brock Dewsbery.

Kodiaks hoops hit the road for ACAC championships

It’s basketball playoff time in the ACAC and both Lethbridge College men’s and women’s teams have their sights set on competing for titles this week. The men’s team enters the championships as the top seed in the conference. The women’s team finished the regular season strong to claim third place in the south division.
