Summer camp options for children and teens

Lethbridge College is providing a series of fun, skill-building and safe summer camp opportunities for children and teens in August. Run by the college’s Be Fit for Life Centre, available camps include mountain biking, dance and Totally U G!rl, as well as a duathlon training program for adults and teens.

Wider Horizons’ Kozleski named Alberta Magazine Editor of the Year

The editor of Lethbridge College’s award-winning Wider Horizons alumni magazine has earned major provincial recognition. Lisa Kozleski, who has edited Wider Horizons since 2013, was named Editor of the Year by the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association. Kozleski’s excellent work was exemplified as Wider Horizons was named a finalist by AMPA in five additional categories.

Applied research program, LEO Club earn national awards

Colleges and Institutes Canada named Lethbridge College the recipient of two national awards for excellence, recognizing the “extraordinary contributions” of the college’s Centre for Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship team with a gold award and the Criminal Justice student members of the college’s LEO Club Executive Team with a bronze.

Massage Therapy program receives national accreditation

Lethbridge College’s Massage Therapy program has received a coveted national accreditation. The Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA) granted the college full accreditation for three years – the longest term possible for a first-time accreditation.
