Kodiaks Athletics

Lethbridge College Kodiaks Logo.jpg High school students are invited to become part of the Kodiaks community, as Lethbridge College hosts Junior and Senior High School appreciation night on Friday.

All junior and senior high school students and their chaperones can attend the Kodiaks volleyball games against Briercrest for free on Friday. There will be free pizza for dinner, games, a photo booth, and contests for great prizes, including one of four Kodiaks summer sports camp passes, valued at $175 each.

“Our relationship with local high schools is the most important factor in the success of Kodiaks Athletics,” says Todd Caughlin, manager of Kodiaks Athletics. “Across all of our programs, local student-athletes have proudly worn Kodiaks colours and helped push us to be better in competition, in the classroom and in the community. We believe we are all Kodiaks, and want to share that excitement with the junior high and high school students on Friday.”

The pizza dinner is available from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The women’s game begins at 6 p.m., followed by the men’s contest at 8 p.m.

It’s part of a busy weekend for the Kodiaks as both the volleyball and basketball teams are at home. Visit gokodiaks.ca for the schedule and full game previews.
