Be safe while having fun

Fourth year Nursing Education in Southwestern Alberta (NESA) students will hold a Safety Party Fair in Centre Core, with games, prizes and, most importantly, information about safety while socializing. Topics will include drinking, drugs and consent.

What’s your (blood) type?

Drop by Centre Core to find out your blood type. This event helps kick off Lethbridge College’s 11th annual blood drive that runs through November. As a Partner for Life, the college is committed to saving lives by donating blood as a team. It’s time to roll up your sleeves and be ready to save lives. Through November, the Food Court will be serving iron-rich meals, we’ll have more blood type information booths and will promote the importance of blood donation. For employees, students, alumni and community friends to support the college blood drive, register online using Partner ID number LETH010182 and book an appointment to donate.

Wine auction pairs great food and wine to support Lethbridge College

The 28th annual Clayton Allan Wine Auction will be held in Garden Court Restaurant, continuing its run as Lethbridge College’s premier fundraising event. The evening features fine dining by Lethbridge College’s Red Seal culinary team and students, and a live auction of wines, spirits and unique gifts.

Junior and senior high appreciation night

Junior and senior high students and their coaches are invited to enjoy Kodiaks volleyball action for free on our annual appreciation night. Students who attend will be entered into a draw to win one of of four Kodiaks Sports Camp packages for Summer 2019. In addition to watching the Kodiaks take on the Briercrest Clippers, students will be treated to free pizza at 5:30 p.m., games and swag. You can catch the women’s game starting at 6 p.m., with the men in action at 8 p.m. at Val Matteotti Gymnasium. Admission is also free to Lethbridge College students with their student ID, $5 for seniors, youth and alumni, $3 for staff and $8 for the public. Kodiaks volleyball action versus Briercrest

The Kodiaks volleyball squads will wrap up a weekend at home taking on the Briercrest Clippers. The women’s game starts at 1 p.m. with men’s action to follow at 3 p.m. in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium. Admission is free to Lethbridge College students with their student ID, $5 for seniors, youth and alumni, $3 for staff and $8 for the public.

Kodiaks basketball action takes to court

The men’s and women’s Kodiaks basketball teams welcome the Olds College Broncos to Val Matteotti Gymnasium. The women’s game begins at 6 p.m. with the men’s tip off at 8 p.m. Admission is free to Lethbridge College students with their student ID, $5 for seniors, youth and alumni, $3 for staff and $8 for the public.

Criminal Justice Networking Day on campus

The Criminal Justice - Policing program organizes a Criminal Justice Networking Day twice a year, giving first-year students an opportunity to meet representatives from 17 public safety agencies from across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Agencies include RCMP, municipal police services, corrections agencies, military, bylaw enforcement, victims services and security.
