Oki! Welcome to Lethbridge College!

On behalf of our entire community, I invite you to learn more about our college and the countless opportunities we provide to the students, employees, alumni and community partners in southern Alberta and beyond. Lethbridge College is committed to providing innovative and inspirational opportunities that support the economic and social needs of our province.

Since our founding as Canada’s first publicly funded community college in 1957, we have operated on the premise that “education is for everyone.” We promote an inclusive and healthy learning and working environment, and we are committed to equity, diversity and inclusion. We care about our community, and the well-being of our people is a priority for all of us.

And of course, students are at the heart of all we do here, and so we are dedicated to student success through excellence in teaching and learning. We offer a wide variety of learning and applied research experiences that lead to credentials ranging from certificates and diplomas to apprenticeships and degrees.

The land on which our college was built is traditional Blackfoot territory, and a traditional meeting ground and home for many Indigenous peoples, including the Kainai, Piikani and Siksika first nations. We recognize and respect the distinct cultures, languages, histories and contemporary perspectives of Indigenous people and Indigenous-centred education.

We hope you enjoy exploring more about who we are at Lethbridge College and all that we have to offer. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

Sincerely,

Brad
