Stone Pipe Pow Wow
May 28 – 29
Lethbridge College’s Indigenous Services is hosting Stone Pipe Celebration – a full contest powwow – on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29.
Everyone is welcome to join us for the opportunity to celebrate our graduates, while showcasing the wonderful Indigenous community we have here at the college.
The two-day celebration will feature a variety of events, including intertribal contest singing and drumming, hand drums, golden age men’s, golden age women’s, men’s buckskin, and junior, teen and tiny tot categories are all part of the event.
Grand Entry, both Saturday and Sunday, will be 1 p.m. in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium – but there is no wrong time to show up to a powwow!
