Our annual Teaching and Learning Conference for all Lethbridge College faculty and staff occurs on May 3, 2018. This year’s conference, The Nature of Teaching and Learning: Take a Walk on the Wild Side, will provide employees the opportunity to explore nature concepts and their relationship to teaching and learning. This year’s themes include adaptation, cooperation, resiliency and communication. Come and join us for a day of fun – we look forward to seeing you there!
Keynote speaker: Trevor Ragan
Our keynote speaker, Trevor Ragan, an entrepreneur, creative developer, researcher and lecturer on growth mindset offers the keys people of all ages need to succeed in the workplace, the classroom and at home. With a foundation in motor learning, performance science and psychology, Trevor Ragan’s keynote presentation, Train Ugly, provides us with information to help us acquire skills, appreciate obstacles, embrace pressure, work hard and continually learn. At the end of the conference, you will walk away with skills and strategies that you can use in the workplace and at home.
